Mientras  Andrew Farriss esperaba un taxi para dirigirse al aeropuerto, le pasaba por su mente el siguiente estribillo: I need you tonight, 'cause I'm not sleeping, there's something about you girl... ; paró el taxi, le pidió que lo esperara para volver a su habitación a buscar algo, y realmente lo que hizo fué grabar el riff de un sencillo que se convertiría en la etiqueta de la banda australiana  INXS : "Need you tonight" es lanzada el 24 de octubre de 1987, siendo la última canción grabada para el álbum "Kick" , se convirtió en el primer y único  Nº1 de la banda en Billboard Hot 100 , con una permanencia de 25 semanas en cartelera.
